Kari Manning, Accountant
Kari Manning works in the Accounting Department for Specialized Property Management, joining the company in February, 2020. She is primarily responsible for owner accounting.
Before joining SPM, Ms. Manning worked as an Accounting Assistant for Real Property Management Select, and as a Bookkeeper for Real Property Management Sac-Metro. Previously, she was employed by Property Management Business Solutions (PMBS), corporate headquarters for RPM, where she assisted with franchise support. Ms. Manning worked with the RPM brand for over 10 years prior to joining the SPM Team, providing her with a deep understanding of property management accounting processes and procedures.
Ms. Manning’s primary strengths are research, reconciliation and attention to detail. She provides quick and accurate responses to tenant and owner questions, concerns and requests for documentation and information. She received her training and experience through 35+ years of hard work in office environments in several industries, including over 20 years in the housing industry. Prior to PMBS, she worked at a California Housing Authority, primarily in accounts payable and tenant receivables. Ms. Manning also worked at a low-income apartment complex in Layton, UT, as a Rental Office Manager.
In her spare time, Ms. Manning enjoys traveling. Either jumping on the bike and exploring, or hopping in the car and visiting out-of-state family and friends. She is also committed to the community and regularly supports local charities by participating in motorcycle runs whenever possible. BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse, and CVMA, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc., are her favorite groups to support. Ms. Manning says, “I love working with the public, assisting with their questions and concerns whenever possible.
