Michael Jeppson, Vice President of Finance
Michael Jeppson is the Vice President of Finance for Specialized Property Management, and has been with the company since 2015. He has over seventeen years of experience in accounting and business management. Mr. Jeppson is primarily responsible for the overall accounting, compliance, acquisitions and finances of the company. In addition, he is involved in enhancing the company’s policies and procedures to further enhance service excellence.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Jeppson worked as a division manager for the largest property management company in the country. He built and managed the accounting platform that performed all the business accounting and trust account financial oversight for over 120 property management offices across the US and Canada. Mr. Jeppson’s team was responsible for completing and managing the accounting and financials for over 120 property management companies nationwide, totaling over $1.2B in homes under management. Mr. Jeppson developed a reporting package used by SEC-audited single-family home investment funds. He also guided his team through more than 45 accounting migrations.
Mr. Jeppson received his MBA from David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors, from the University of Utah. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling with his wife and five children. Mr. Jeppson is also committed to the community, and spends time working with various local charity projects.
